Vanna White Renews 'Wheel of Fortune' Contract, Commits to Staying as Pat Sajak Exits

Vanna White, the long-standing co-host of "Wheel of Fortune," has renewed her contract, ensuring that she will continue to reveal letters on the iconic game show until at least the middle of 2026, according to an announcement made by producers on Tuesday.

As the 41st season of "Wheel of Fortune" marks the farewell of host Pat Sajak, there had been uncertainties about Vanna White's future on the show, a program she has been a part of since the early 1980s.

At the age of 66, Vanna White has committed to a two-year extension, guaranteeing her presence on "Wheel of Fortune" for the television seasons of 2024-25 and 2025-26, as confirmed by statements from the show's producers and distributors on Tuesday.

When the 42nd season of "Wheel of Fortune" commences a year from now, Vanna White will continue her letter-turning duties alongside the new host, Ryan Seacrest.

During a recent episode of "Live with Kelly and Mark," Kelly Ripa, the co-host, playfully suggested that hosting "Wheel of Fortune" might assist Ryan Seacrest with his occasionally challenging spelling and texting skills.

"This is the perfect show for you," Ripa quipped to Seacrest during the broadcast this week. "You'll finally get better at spelling, and as a result, we'll be able to understand your text messages more easily."

Seacrest candidly admitted to occasional texting mishaps, saying, "It's a public service. Yes, I tend to send texts without checking the spelling, which often results in autocorrect turning them into entirely different words that don't make sense."
