Spanish pop sensation Miguel Bosé revealed that a group of ten armed intruders forcefully entered his residence in Mexico City. During the incident, they tied him, his two children, and the household staff for over two hours while they thoroughly searched the premises.
In a post on his Instagram account, Bosé assured his followers that he and his children were unharmed after the robbery, which occurred on Friday. However, he characterized the experience as highly tense, uncomfortable, and distressing. Bosé conveyed that the attackers made away with his car and other belongings before departing.
He emphasized that despite the criminal incident, he had no intention of leaving Mexico.
As of Monday, neither the city police nor the prosecutors had issued a response or comment on the incident report.
This event was one of two instances of violence involving foreigners in Mexico City over the weekend.
On Saturday, a man from India was fatally shot by thieves on a motorcycle while traveling on an expressway. The motive appeared to be a robbery, targeting the $10,000 he had exchanged at a money exchange within the Mexico City international airport.
