Former 'The Young and the Restless' and 'General Hospital' Star Billy Miller Dies at 43

Billy Miller, the actor and producer renowned for his portrayal of Billy Abbott on the enduring American TV soap opera "The Young and the Restless," has passed away at the age of 43.

According to Miller's manager, the actor was grappling with manic depression at the time of his death, as stated in an announcement made to Variety on Sunday.

Miller's impressive career included winning three Daytime Emmy awards: two for Outstanding Supporting Actor and one for Outstanding Lead Actor for his work on "The Young and the Restless." He graced the show's screen from 2008 to 2014 before moving on to "General Hospital" from 2014 to 2019.

In addition to his soap opera success, he made appearances in the 2014 film "American Sniper" and various TV series such as "Ray Donovan" and "Suits."

Miller's most recent work included roles in "NCIS" and "The Rookie."

Born as William John Miller in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on September 17, 1979, the actor passed away in Austin, Texas, on Friday.
