Foetal Surgery Saves Life of Unborn Baby, Kourtney Kardashian Reveals

Kourtney Kardashian expressed her gratitude to doctors for performing life-saving surgery on her unborn child. The reality TV star, aged 44, revealed that she underwent "urgent foetal surgery," a procedure in which surgeons operate on babies while they are still in the womb. Kourtney, who has had three easy pregnancies in the past, admitted she wasn't prepared for the fear associated with this situation.

Her husband, Travis Barker, had to cut short his tour with Blink-182 due to an undisclosed "urgent family matter." He later revealed that he had flown home for a life-threatening emergency surgery for their baby, which was successful. The couple did not disclose the specific nature of the surgery performed on their baby boy.

Kourtney expressed her everlasting gratitude to her doctors for saving her baby's life and thanked her husband for rushing to her side from the tour to be with her during and after the hospital stay. She also acknowledged her mother's support throughout the ordeal. Kourtney now has a profound understanding and respect for mothers who have faced similar challenges during pregnancy.

She emphasized that walking out of the hospital with her baby boy in her womb and safe was an immense blessing. Kourtney has three children with Scott Disick, aged eight, 11, and 13. She has previously shared her difficulties in conceiving with Travis Barker but joyfully announced her pregnancy in June through an Instagram video at a Blink-182 concert.
