Amid a New York City stage event, Drew Barrymore and singer/actor Reneé Rapp made an abrupt departure after an individual approached while shouting, "You know who I am," as per a video circulating on social media.
Drew Barrymore, recognized for her role as a talk show host and actress, was moderating a conversation with Reneé Rapp, who stars in "The Sex Lives of College Girls," about her latest album, when they swiftly exited the stage.
The video footage captures the two present on the 92nd Street Y stage, a cultural hub in Manhattan, when an interruption occurs as someone suddenly shouts, "Drew Barrymore!"
Caught off guard, Barrymore responded into the microphone, "Oh, my God! Yes! Hi!"
Both individuals looked apprehensively at the man as he approached the stage, continuing to vocalize his name and asserting, "You know who I am."
As he walked along the edge of the stage, he added, "I need to see you at some point while you're in New York, OK?"
